Fifty Shades of Chevron

Base color in OPI's Red Lights Ahead...Where? from the Holland Collection.  I free-handed the chevron gradient with Alpine Snow from the Tuxedo Collection, and Cement the Deal, Embrace the Gray, and Dark Side of the Mood from the Fifty Shades of Grey Collection.  I used a silver glitter striper for one of the stripes on the chevron.

12 Days of Holiday Nail Art (All in One!)

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Beautiful, sparkly, black trees!

This design was done using a black striper for the tips and the tree.  I topped everything off with Essie's Set in Stones from the Luxeffects Collection.  The tree was starred using a confetti glitter mix that I bought from Michaels.

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Green and red gradient!

I used OPI's My Vampire is Buff from the Euro Centrale Collection as the base.  Then using a mix of Fresh Frog of Bel-Air and Gettin' Miss Piggy With It from the Muppets Holiday Collection, I brushed on a slight gradient.

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Silver holly French tips!

For the French tips, I used OPI's Unfrost My Heart from the Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection.  Then, using red and green acrylic paint, I hand painted the little holly berries.

On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Glowing Chirstmas lights!

The base color was done in OPI's My Vampire is Buff from the Euro Centrale Collection.  I used a black striper for the strings and colorful rhinestones for the lights.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Shimmery ornaments!

The base color was done in China Glaze's Dandy Lyin' Around from the Avant Garden Collection.  Ornament were done with Running in Circles and Bend Over Backwards from the Cirque du Soleil Collection.  Each ornament was decorated with white stripes or polka dots.

On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Sweet little penguins!

I used OPI's Unfrost My Heart from the Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection as the two outer nail base colors.  For the penguins, I used Black Onyx from the Tuxedo Collection and Alpine Snow for their bellies.  Using orange acrylic paint, I made the beaks and the feet!

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Peppermint candies!

I used China Glaze's Dandy Lyin' Around from the Avant Garden Collection as the base.  Carefully using a red striper, I polished on the stripes and accented them with a red glitter striper.  The dot in the middle is OPI's Unfrost My Heart from the Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection.

On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Glittery white snow!

All I did for this was paint on a top coat and coated the nail with white Recollections fine glitter from Michael's.  Simple, eh?

On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

A shimmery snowman!

I used OPI's Just Groovy from the Psychedelic Summer Collection as the base.  I dotted on some white snow flake dots with white acrylic paint.  Then painted on the snowman with acrylic paint.  Everything was topped off using the Northern Lights top coat.

On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Funky purple and white snowflakes!

I used China Glaze's Tart-y for the Party from the Avant Garden Collection as the base color.  Then using a Bundle Monster Holiday plate, I stamped on white snowflakes, then individual dark puprle snowflakes.  All was topped off with the Northern Lights top coat.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

A winter wonderland of snow!

I used a gradient of OPI's Just Groovy from the Psychedelic Summer Collection, Ogre-the-Top Blue from the Shrek Collection, and OPI...Eurso Euro from the Euro Centrale Collection as the background.  I used a white and black striper for the winter scene and topped it with a glossy topcoat.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

CHRISTMAS MINIONS!!!!

I used OPI's I Just Can't Cope-acabana from the Brazil Collection as their body color.  The rest was painted by hand using a mix of red, white, black, gray, and silver acrylic paint!  These are probably my favorite design I did in all of the days and they are dedicated to my little love, Kayla!! :)

Happy Holidays everyone!
