Right Off the Bat

Base color in OPI's Right Off the Bat from the Fashion Plate Collection.
Now, I was going to do this design over the red I did previously, but I thought it would look too St. Louis Cardinals-esque.  So, I did it over the blue.  Brewers-y??
This was done using white and red acrylic paints then sealed off with a top coat.

Now, I can't decided if I should switch my randoms here.  I've been really enjoying some baseball lately and have been keeping up with the Cards and the Brewers.  I was really only a Brewers' fan because that's what I grew up on...but now, I have so much freedom!  But hey, at least I'm not going to be a Cubs fan! ;)

Queen of Hearts Inspiration

Base color in OPI's Love Athletes in Cleats from the Fashion Plate Collection.
This was then painted with black and white acrylic paints with a design inspired by the Queen of Hearts.
I also used a silver glitter striper to give the look a little flair. :)

Hope you enjoy this inspired idea.

Oriole Nails!

So, I'm not an Orioles fan and this color totally reminded me of that.  Instead, I decided to go with nails inspired by the bird!  It's so pretty right??
Base color in OPI's Orange You Going to the Game? from the Fashion Plate Collection.  Now, I realize I have the swatches up but I just needed to throw it out there that this color is SO BEAUTIFUL.  Ugh.
This was then painted with black and yellow acrylic paint.
It's simple but pretty!

This.

Base color in OPI's French Quarter for your Thoughts from the Touring America Collection.
Using a thicker paint brush, I painted on white acrylic paint and let the dry.  I then did the same with the lavender paint.
Hope you like!

On Wisconsin!

Base color in OPI's Alpine Snow from the Tuxedo Collection along with Atomic Orange from the Brights by the Dozen Collection.
Two of the nails were glittered with Getting' Miss Piggy With It from the Muppets Collection.  The orange nail was stamped with orange Konad stamping polish and a Cheeky plate.  Over the top, to finish the basketball, I used black acrylic paint to draw on the lines.
Lastly, using red and black acrylic paints, I painted on the Wisconsin's "W."

GO BADGERS! :)

Don't Stripe Me!

Base color in OPI's Alpine Snow from the Tuxedo Collection.  This was then striped with black Konad stamping polish and a Cheeky plate.
After this was completely dry, I used a piece of tape and taped off half of my nail.  Using Essie's Mojito Madness, I painted half of my nail.  You can still kind of see the stripes through the green, but you get the idea! :)

This title was courtesy of my friend again.. I think her formula is "Dont _*add design here*_ Me."  So if you see another title like this, it's because I can't creative.

Nail Product Review

I decided I was going to try something new and went with trying out fake nails, or acrylics.  I figured they would give me a bigger canvas to work with and keep my nails from breaking so easily.  Turns out I was wrong..

The fake nails wouldn't really fit onto my existing nails so you can still see the cuticles and part of my natural nails.  They were brittle and would barely stay on my hands.
I felt like I could barely use my hand because of how big and pointy they were and overall, it was a greasy experience.  Whatever you do, do not buy Bugles brand of fake nails.  It's really not worth the money.

APRIL FOOLS! :)
