Updates

Hello everyone!

I haven't really been posting on here too often lately, but to be honest, I haven't been in the mood to do much of anything.. including my nails. * GASP * I know.  It surprises even me.  This is how bad it is:  I've had the same color on for two days now.
* ANOTHER GASP *

Life happens and you can't control it so I'm taking it day by day.  Don't worry.. by no means am I not going to post soon!  I have 19 new KLEANCOLOR polishes and 4 new OPIs that I am in the process of swatching.  Those should hopefully be up by the end of the week!

Also, I have a few last designs before Halloween night is over so hopefully I will be able to post those.  The ideas are flowing.. But for now, I will leave you with a few pictures.

Above are all the beautiful nail polishes that I will be swatching for you including 19 KleanColors and 4 OPIs (one from the Pink of Hearts 2013 Collection and the other three from the Miss Universe 2013 Collection).  Keep an eye out!

This is just something I saw on Pinterest.  :)  Read that men.  Study.  Learn.  This is how you get me.

Boston Red Sox!

Base colors in OPI's Alpine Snow from the Tuxedo Collection and Incognito in Sausalito from the San Francisco Collection
Baseballs were done with red acrylic paints and the logos were done with red/white acrylic paints.  I love the socks.. they're so cute!

I suppose to be fair to the World Series, I did Red Sox nails.  I mean.. If I had to choose a team, I suppose the Cardinals, but eh.  I think these logos turned out better at least!  Seems to always happen that way...

Bats!

Base color in OPI's Black Onyx from the Tuxedo Collection with the feature nails done in Funky Dunky from the Shrek Collection
Bats were done with black Konad stamping polish and one of the Holiday Bundle Monster plates.  Each of the other nails were done with a white and silver glitter striper.  I took this idea from some nails I did this weekend at a "Halloweenie Roast" I went to.  They were different colors (orange and black) but I decided to go with this because I've overdone the orange and black.

The next nails I do are going to be for the World Series tomorrow!  Cardinals vs. Red Sox.. I mean, their colors are the same which sucks, but they will be fun!  GO CARDINALS!...only because the Brewers aren't playing.  Boo.

Halloween Plaid!

Base color in OPI's Black Onyx from the Tuxedo Collection.  This was then stamped with white Konad stamping polish and a Konad plate.  Over the top, using orange acrylic paints and a silver glitter striper, I added little accents!
This was done per request of my friend at work, who's birthday is actually today!  I hope he enjoys them! :)  Happy birthday!

Frankensteins!

Base color in OPI's Did it On 'Em from the Nicki Minaj Collection
This was topped off with the OPI matte top coat.
Then, using acrylic paints, I did the face and the stitches on the other nails.  I hope you enjoy this cute little Frankenstein design!

A Simple Halloween French

Base color in OPI's My Pointe Exactly from the New York City Ballet Collection.  This was then French tipped with black Konad stamping polish and the French tip plate.
I topped this all off with metallic orange stringy glitters.  Very simple but very Halloween-ish...I suppose.  :)  Enjoy!

Jack-O-Lanterns and Spatter!

Base color in OPI's Flit a Bit from the Summer Flutter Collection.
Using OPI's Black Onyx from the Tuxedo Collection, I spattered over the top.  Kind of looks a little 3D because I did not add a top coat after doing this.  Usually, I do, but I didn't want to smear this look!
I painted the Jack-O-Lantern's faces on with black acrylic paints.
This was then topped off with some Spectra Flair!!

Naughty Foils!

Base color in Essie's Naughty Nautical.  This was then topped off with some silver square patterned foils.
After foiling the manicure, I used a Gals stamp and black Konad stamping polish to finish the look.

I really love how this turned out.  I've tried something like this before and it didn't turn out the greatest, but I think I have it down finally.  The trick is, you cannot put on a top coat with this, or at least use the top coats that I have.  It totally smears the foils for some reason and I haven't found a good top coat to not do that yet.

Using a white, silver glitter, and maroon/purple striper, I finished the tips! It's another simple and easy design that you can create yourself! :D  ENJOY

Ski Slope Sweetie!

Base color in OPI's Ski Slope Sweetie from the Mariah Carey Holiday Collection
Cloud manicure was finished using Zoya's Izzy and Noel!  I did this on my sister this weekend and decided to recreate it, although she used a gold base instead! :)

Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch!

Base color in Chick Nail Polish's Honey Bunch and China Glaze's White on White.
This was then striped with Honey Bunch and OPI's My Favorite Ornament from the Mariah Carey Holiday Collection.  I found this design in a different fashion on Pinterest and thought it was very pretty and simple.
