Tribal Neon!

Base color in Essie's In the Cab-Ana.  This was then striped with a black and a white striper.
The colorful polka dots in this design are done with China Glaze's Highlight of My Summer and Bottoms Up from the Sunsational Summer Collection.  I got this idea from Pinterest and thought it was pretty simple and cute.  Hope you enjoy!

Arizona Tips

Base color in Zoya's Arizona from the Beach and Surf Collection.  This was then taped off (in more ways than one) and tipped with Myrta.  It's simple, yet gives a really great look.  I just love the Beach and Surf Collection colors and think they pair together really nicely.  Enjoy!

Zebra Tips!

Base color in China Glaze's That's Shore Bright from the Sunsational Summer Collection.  This was then tipped off with white Konad stamping polish and the French manicure plate.
With black Konad stamping polish, I stamped over the white and zebra striped it.
Lastly, using a silver glitter striper, I drew a line between the tip and the base color and finished it with a silver rhinestone.  One of my co-workers' daughter is obsessed with zebra now and requested something with purple and zebra.  There ya go!!  :D  Hope you enjoy this fun, neon manicure.

Neon, Neon.

Base colors in China Glaze's Neon & On, Too Yacht to Handle, Sun of a Peach, and That's Shore Bright from the Sunsational Summer Collection
This was then stamped with white Konad stamping polish and a Cheeky plate.  Then, with black acrylic paint, I made a little heart on two of the nails.  :D  Yes.  Neons are still hot right now and I refuse to believe that summer is almost over.

Dotty Neon!

Base color in China Glaze's Highlight of My Summer from the Sunsational Summer Collection.  This was then striped and dotted like madness!
For the stripes I used a silver glitter striper and a black striper.  For the dotted parts, I used OPI's Black Onyx and Alpine Snow from the Tuxedo Collection.  This was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest but the dots were way too tiny.  So this happened.  :)

Vintage Florals!

Base color in Chick Nail Polish's Cutie Pie.  This was then hand painted with little roses in OPI's If You Moust, You Moust from the Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection, a red striper, and Zoya's Josie.
I found a tutorial on how to do this from Cutepolish and it's super simple!  I've always thought this design was super adorable and have been wanting to do it for a while.  It's been on my nails for two days almost!!!  That's a record. ;)

Giovanna

Base color in Zoya's Giovanna from the Cashmeres and Satins Collection.  This was then striped with a black striper and lined with loose glitters.

I wish my camera could capture this magnificent emerald green like I wanted it to.  This design looks so beautiful in person!!

Floss Mani!

Base color in Zoya's Blu from the Lovely Collection.  I have been so excited to get this color but it has been on back-order forever!  Yay!
Design was done with a toothpick flosser thing.  All you have to do is put your nail polish on the floss part and dab it on your nails.  The idea for this manicure came from my best friend, Tawny who also has a blog which you can visit here!

The colors I chose for the toothpick flosser designs were OPI's Alpine Snow from the Tuxedo Collection, Rumple's Wiggin' from the Shrek Collection, and Chick Nail Polish's Baby CakesEnjoy this 3D nail design!

#Roar

Base color in OPI's Black Onyx from the Tuxedo Collection.  This was then stamped with white Konad stamping polish and the cheetah print Konad plate.  With a dotting tool, I colored some of the spots with A-Piers to Be Tan and Haven't the Foggiest from the San Francisco Collection.  "Roar" was written in white acrylic paint.

I did this design because Katy Perry's new single came out yesterday and I was completely inspired by it!  It's an amazing song and definitely the sound that I like from her.  The video below is kind of stupid (the text messaging whatever) but it's the song you should listen to!! Enjoy!!

No Birds Were Harmed..

Base color is still Unknown but it's by OPI!
These are real feathers that I bought from the Michael's Craft Store.  All you have to do is throw on some top coat, stick on the feather and wait for it to harden.  When it does, you can trim down the feathers  to match the tip of your nail and seal it off with some more top coat.  The only issue I had was the feathers would come up at the ends a little bit and I found myself filing a lot.  They look cool though!

This Purple Has a Purpose

Base color in OPI's Purple with a Purpose from the Brights By the Dozen Collection.  This was then stamped using white Konad stamping polish and the Cheeky "European Romance" plate.
Details went on using a silver glitter striper and Fly from the Nicki Minaj Collection.  This color was BEAUTIFUL on my nails and I ended up wearing it for two days.  It is, in fact, my favorite OPI EVAR.

I Need Somebody..HELP!

Hello everyone!  I have a special post today and this is because I need help on naming some of these colors.  They are all colors that I have obtained that do not have labels at all.  Most of them, I don't think I've seen before and still have the original brush (Pre Pro-Wide).  If any of you have a clue as to what the color is, that would be fantastic!  Thanks for the help and I will try to describe as best as I can below.

Pre Pro-Wide era brush meaning it's an older color, it is a deep wine color with a little pink shimmer to it.  Goes on thin and takes about two to three coats to become opaque.  This looks like it's from a spring collection.
Pro-Wide era to recent, this color goes on in nice and opaque layers.  It's a deep burnt orange that flat but very shiny.  This is probably from a fall collection.
Also Pro-Wide era to recent meaning it is still being made or came out in a more recent  collection (~2008<).  It goes on thin and is a great beige/tan nude.  Flat color; no shimmer.  Maybe a soft shades collection?
Pro-Wide era to recent, this color goes on thicker and will be opaque in just two coats.  It is a soft pink/nude cream.  There is no shimmer to it.  Maybe a soft shades collection?
Pre Pro-Wide era and older, this color is very jelly like and thin.  Takes about two to three coats to become opaque.  It is a medium pink with no shimmer to it, but is very shiny.  Has kind of a soft orange tint to it, kind of like a coral, but more pink.  Kind of looks like it's from the South Beach collection or a summer collection earlier.
Lastly, this color is pre Pro-Wide era to earlier and is a beautiful mint green color.  It's flat with no shimmer and lays on thin so two to three coats are needed to become opaque.  Has a lot of shine to it.  This is not original Gargantuan Green Grape (I have it) and is much lighter than Mermaid's Tears.

I painted my nails once...It was awful.

Base color in OPI's Can't Find My Czechbook from the Euro Centrale Collection.  Grumpy Cat is made of acrylic paints and My Vampire Is Buff.  This design was by request of a friend who lovesssssssss grumpy cat to death.  Hope you enjoy...or don't.  Because enjoying things is awful.

Matte Glitter!

Base color in Zoya's Aurora then topped with the OPI Matte Top Coat.
Next, tips were added using OPI's Radiance from the Designer Series Collection.  I really enjoy the look of Aurora in matte.  Although it dulls down the rainbow effect that the color naturally has, it still looks great.

Having Fun With MATTE!

Base color in OPI's OPI...Eurso Euro, sponged with Can't Find My Czechbook, and Vant to Bite My Neck? all from the Euro Centrale Collection.  This was then topped off with OPI's Matte Top Coat and dotted with glossy top coat.  I must say, I love OPI's Matte Top Coat a lot.  It works quickly, doesn't chip easily (wore it for a whole day!) and looks fantastic.

This was my first time using it.. Above is OPI's Black Onyx from the Tuxedo Collection.  It was taped off using striping tape and either glossed over using a top coat or matted over using the Matte Top Coat from OPI.
