Warm Me Up!

Base color in OPI's Warm Me Up from the Mariah Carey Holiday Collection.
Using a dotting tool and a thin brush, I painted on a heart and stripes using All Sparkly and Gold.  I love this nail design and think it looks very simple and delicate.  I can't say how much I love this holiday collection.. words can't describe.  The glitters are just amazing!!

Camo Tips

Base color in OPI's Venus di Violet from the Italian Collection.  This was then taped off and tipped with That's Hot! Pink from the Mod About Brights Collection.  I did a camo print on the tips using Pink Friday from the Nicki Minaj Collection, Ate Berries in the Canaries from El Collection de Espana, and a white striper.  After everything was done, I used a silver glitter striper to outline the tips.  I think it finishes the look nicely!
One of my co-workers sent me a picture of pink camo tips that he challenged me to replicate.  I think I nailed it (no pun intended). :)
Also, as a little tiny sneak peek from the new Mariah Carey Holiday Collection.. this is Ski Slope Sweetie and when I opened it to swatch it, THERE WAS NO BRUSH.  I mean really.  It's just a nub.  What am I supposed to do with that??  #rage

There will be swatches up from the new collection soon so make sure to stayed tuned!  A whopping 19 colors!!

DJ Play That Song!

Base color in Essie's DJ Play That Song.  This was then stamped with light blue Konad stamping polish and a Gals plate.
After this was done, I did a glitter gradient of Set in Stones from the Luxeffects Collection

Using a Gals plate and acrylic paints.. I painted on the design!  I hope you enjoy! :)

Ice Truck Killer Nails REMIX!

There is no base color, but for the tips I used OPI's Funky Dunky and Ogre the Top Blue from the Shrek Collection, Greenwich Village and That's Hot! Pink from the Brights by the Dozen Collection, and In My Back Pocket from the Brights Pair Collection.  This was then "blood spattered" with Jingleberry!

I was kind of disappointed because it all smeared and doesn't look as great as I wanted it to.. but the effect is there!
This was the aftermath of my "slaughter." :)

Rumple's Wiggin'

Base color in OPI's Rumple's Wiggin' from the Shrek Collection.  This was then striped with a black and a silver glitter striper.  This was another simple manicure, that's super easy, that I DON'T WANT TO TAKE OFF.  :) Enjoy!

Neon Chevrons

Base color in China Glaze's Sun of a Peach from the Sunsational Summer Collection.  This was then stamped with a Bundle Monster stamp in white Konad stamping polish.  Afterwards, I blocked out a chevron pattern and painted Bottoms Up over it.  Hope this brightens your day!

Disney Princess Nails: Snow White

Base color in China Glaze's White on White.  This was then stamped with red Konad stamping polish and two Konad plates (one for the apple and one for the bow).  The rest is done with a super tiny brush and acrylic paints.  Hope you enjoy!

I hope to be doing more Disney princess inspired nails over time, so if you have a request for next, let me know! :)

A Cautionary Tale...

Tonight I was doing my nails and I had the Bundle Monster plate in my hands.  Welp, I lost control of it and it cut into my skin!  OUCH!  I mean, these plates aren't even bad with edges either.  The Red Angel plates, well those are killer!!  I was surprised but dang.  Must have gotten a little crazy tonight.

Base color in OPI's Embarca-Dare Ya! from the San Francisco Collection.  This was then stamped with white Konad stamping polish and a Bundle Monster plate.  Then, using gray acrylic paint, I painted on some thin tips.  This was inspired by a dress that I got from the Loft.  It's super cute and I just got super inspired. Hope you like!!

First Date at the Golden Gate

Base color in OPI's First Date at the Golden Gate from the San Francisco Collection.  This was then taped off using french tip guiders and topped with Zoya's Goldie.
The lines between were striped over with a white striper.  I think gold and red are great colors together, however, I'm not a huge red person so this wasn't on for too long! :)

Reverse! Reverse!

Base color in China Glaze's White on White.  After that, I used a tiny brush and purple, lime green, and sky blue acrylic paints.
I know!  I barely used nail polish in the making of this design.  Then, using white acrylic paint, I dotted on the flowers.
On my other hand, I did a completely white base coat with green, purple, and blue flowers.  Little opposite going on there!  This is a super fun and bright idea that takes time, but is super easy to do!

Glitter Chevrons!

Base color in OPI's Black Onyx from the Tuxedo Collection.
This was then taped off using white sticky labels that I cut with fun chevron scissors in thin strips.  I laid those down and used teal loose glitter to fill in the rest.  It's kind of hard to see because of how SPARKLY they are, but you get the drift. :)  Enjoy!

Pink Sun Rays!

Base color in OPI's Pink Friday from the Nicki Minaj Collection.  This was half mooned and taped off to make little sun rays using Radiance from the Designer Series.  I hope you enjoy this fun little design!

Dining Al Frisco on Labor Day

Base color in OPI's Dining Al Frisco from the San Francisco Collection.  After this was painted, I used a Pueen plate and white Konad stamping polish to stamp stars and polka dots.
The dots were topped with The Color of Minnie from the Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection.  It was all brought together with some Northern Lights to give it a little sparkle.  Hope you enjoy this Labor Day design!
