Base color in Nein, Nein, Nein..Okay Fine! from the OPI Germany Collection
Design done with a Migi Nail Art Pen in pink and white
**So I bought these nail art pens from the State Fair for my mom because I thought it would be easier. Ugh.. I would definitely rather use a striper. It is, however, much easier to do circular designs with them and I mean, they show up nicely on dark colors. So that's good. I just did this design quick to see how it would turn out, and I like it a lot! :)
Base colors in Jingleberry, Unfor-Greta-bly Blue (Germany Collection), Zoya Holly, Essie Blanc, Birthday Babe, and Rumpel's Wiggin'(Shrek Collection)
Designs done with acrylic paint and a really tiny paint brush
**The reason I did this design was because of RA training (again). The theme was, you guessed it, Marvel versus DC Comics day. I personally like Marvel comics better, but I think the DC nails look pretty cool, eh?
Base color in Suzi and the 7 Dusseldorfs from the Germany Collection by OPI
Stamp done in Mash-50 with bright yellow Konad stamping polish
**I really, really, really love this color. For the longest time, you can ask anyone, my favorite color by OPI was Purple with a Purpose and I think this may top it. It goes on smoothly, it is a really nice bright purple, and in the sunlight it has great undertones of blue and magenta. Ugh!! Love it. I just have to mention, that yellow Konad polish went on fantastically. I mean, the purple is pretty dark and having it show up that bright it amazing! :)
Red base color in Danke-Shiny Red from the OPI Germany Collection
Blue base color in What's with the Cattitude? from the OPI Shrek Collection
White base color in Essie's Blanc
**I did this design because our theme for RA (Resident Assistant) training is Superheroes and one of the training theme days was the Incredibles. I decided to dress up in all red and do my nails for this occasion. More superhero nails to come! And if you are wondering, the blue nail is for Frozone and the white nails is for Incrediboy (before he turned evil!). Here's a clip that I love from the movie!
Base color in Don't Talk Bach to Me from the Germany Collection by OPI
Stamp done in MASH-50 using black Konad stamping polish
**I apologize for the messiness of the skin; I started training today and I don't have as much time to clean around the edges as normal. Still trying to shoot out some cool designs and show off the new collection! Absolute favorite cream of the collection and by far the most beautiful light green I've seen. More to come! :D
Base colors in Ogre The Top Blue from OPI's Shrek Collection and Good as Gold from Essie's Mirror Metallic Collection
Stamped with Bundle Monster's 2012 collection of plates BM-301
**This was done using striping tape, stamping polishes, and patience. I originally thought that the Essie Mirror Metallic Collection colors would be great for stamping, but I don't like it. I mean, they show up nicely on even dark colors, but it dries so quickly that you need to be on top of your stuff to get it on neatly. It kept flaking.
Base color in No Plain Jane from the Bohemian Collection by China Glaze
Stamp done in M82 by Konadwith black rhinestones in the centers
**This color is a part of a whole collection of duochromes, so if you are looking for some, these are amazing. This color is a brilliant purple with a bronze duochrome. (You can kind of see this on the right tip of my thumb)
